THE COOLEST THING EVER!!

Okay...so I'm really anxious to start shopping for our Twins, but unfortunately I'm on hold until we find out what they are. But in the meantime I've found a couple of things that I'm not going to be able to live without and due to the fact that your color patterns are very limited with stuff for twins, these things won't really matter. They aren't gender specific. My first find is a Pak N Play for twins. It's one Pak N Play that is a little bigger than a regular Pak N Play, but it has two Bassinets for when they are Newborns, so this will be a huge space saver. I have found it availabe at Babies R Us and Walmart, but unfortunately it is only availabe online which is how most twin stuff is. But anyway, I just thought I 'd share this cool find.

Then my mom and I shopped one morning on the internet for Baby Beds. I had a bed in mind, but was unable to find it anywhere. I wanted a baby bed that was two toned and when I say two toned, I mean has some white and some wood color on it. So we looked around and found a bed that we just can't resist. I asked Chris what he thought and he said he liked it, but you know how guys are, they just don't really get into the decorating.

The other best thing that we got was a Black and Decker Storage Cabinet for our Garage. I'm using it to store seasonal things, that were just taking up much needed space in our house. If you are looking to create space and get more organized this is the best thing for you. And it is very sturdy and well worth the money. You can find this item at Lowe's.

We also got some more shelves to go in our hall closet and what will soon be the babies closet. So we are on the road to organization in the Hamm Household. Hopefully by the time the babies get here we will be organized and ready.

4TH OF JULY FAMILY BEACH BASH!

Last week my whole family headed down for a week at the beach. We always go every year for the 4th of July. So it was a total of 14 of us this year and we had a blast. Let's see...there was my family which included me, Chris and Brady and then my sister's family which was Kelley, Keith, Victoria, and Daniel. And of course my mom and grandmother went as well. We were all in one condo together. Then my Aunt Jessica, Uncle Barry, William, Walton, and his girlfriend Lauren were in another condo. The first day we were there we almost got blown away by a storm that came through. We were all getting our stuff together and heading up to the room because it was looking pretty bad outside and then all of a sudden this wind out of nowhere starting blowing everybody's stuff down the beach. Our tent made it thanks to Keith, Barry, and William. But by the end of the week we looked like we had been ship wrecked. Our tent was being held up by a 2x4, tow strap, bungee cords, zip ties, and some rope. It was rather funny. After that storm all the other days were beautiful. On Friday night we all got together and ate BBQ in teh room and then sat together to watch the Firework Show that Gulf Shores put on. It was awesome and the kids LOVED IT. We left on Saturday the 5th and were so sad to leave, but looking forward to being back at HOME SWEET HOME.

HAPPY 2ND ANNIVERSARY TO US!

Chris and I celebrated our 2nd Wedding Anniversary on June 24th. It's so hard to believe that we have been married for 2 years. Each year we do the dorky thing and get each other something small that goes with the "traditional" wedding gift list. This year was cotton. So since my hubby loves to cook all the time, I got him a Chef hat with his name printed on it and HE LOVED IT!!! Unfortunately, we had to spend our anniversary apart because Chris had to go away for work that week, but he sent me a lovely bouquet of fruit that was DELICIOUS! And the fruit was shaped into flowers.....how cool!! He didn't get the "cotton" item, but at least he remembered. HAHA!!!

TWELVE WEEK BABY UPDATE

I went for another appointment today and we got another U/S. Unfortunately Chris was unable to go with me, so my mom went with me to the doc. Chris has been out of town for a week working and will hopefully be home Friday. This time I got a picture of our babies and you can see them perfectly. The U/S tech said today that they WERE in separate sacs so that means there still is a chance there could a boy and a girl in there, but it is still too soon to tell. It all depends on when the sac/babies actually split. I go back on July 23 and they have me down for another U/S. HOW EXCITING!!! It is so fun getting to see our babies so much. They both measured 11 weeks and 4 days and they look like little peanuts. By my cycle I am 11 weeks and 3 days. One's heart rate was 146 and the other was 155. They said everything looked great and sounded great. So another good checkup!!! YAY!!!! Thank you all again for your prayers and your support. We have a long way to go, but it is going to be so much FUN!!

This pic shows both of our little peanuts.

They are right beside each other. It looks like the bottom one is facing up with his/her hands up beside his/her ears and the top one is showing a profile view with maybe an arm up by his/her face.

Aren't they so cute?? This is just so amazing!

HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY TO BRADY!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRADY!!!!!

On June 12th Brady turned 6 years old. I know...he is getting so BIG! For his Birthday we first celebrated on Father's Day at Lunch with Grandmommy, Berta, Great Granddaddy, Aunt Sue, Uncle Jack, Celia, and Drew. Chris was unable to be with me and Brady on Sunday because he had to work, but we celebrated Father's Day with him that evening. Brady got so many goodies that it was almost like Christmas.

Then around 2pm me and Brady headed to Tuscaloosa for an afternoon at the pool with my sister's in-laws and my dad. They were so sweet to make Brady a cake for his Birthday. He had so much fun!!!

Then we headed home where me and Chris and my mom celebrated his birthday with him. We gave him a Bike, a fishing shirt, and polarized sun glasses so he would be just like his Daddy. Oh and I almost forgot the best part. I gave my two favorite boys a Buddy Deer Stand so now they can sit in a stand together when they go hunting. They both loved it!!! It's so hard to believe that Brady is 6 years old. He had just turned 4 when Chris and I got married. Boy...how time flies!!!!

WE HOPE YOU HAD A WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY!

WE LOVE YOU, DADDY AND KRISTY!

A DAY AT THE ZOO!!!

Memorial Day weekend me, Chris, Brady, my mom, my sister, Victoria, and Daniel all headed out for a day at the Birmingham Zoo. But before we could even get to the zoo we had to stop at the Cracker Barrel on 280 to get a bite to eat. We finally made it to the zoo around 1pm. The kids had a BLAST! Their favorite thing though was the CAMEL RIDE!!!! That's right.....the B'Ham zoo is now offering camel rides. Victoria and Brady absolutely LOVED it, but of course afterwards they stunk like a camel the rest of the day. :) After getting to see all the animals, we took the kids to the foam machine that was set up over near the food pavilion. That was a great way for the kids to get cooled off. After the zoo, it was time to eat supper so we decided to go to Red Lobster. It was good too!!!! Then back home, where the kids played all night long together. I think the fam probably left around 11 that night to head home. We had such a fun day. Family Fun is ALWAYS the best!!!

THE FISHING HAS BEGUN!!!

This past weekend me and Chris and a few of our friends headed to the beach for a weekend of relaxation and salt water fishing. Of course I didn't get to go out on the boat, but I did get a few hours of sun and then a lot of needed sleep and rest. It was a rather relaxing weekend!!! The guy's headed out on Saturday morning in hopes of spending the entire day reeling in one after the other. They did pretty good, but not as good as they wanted to. We ended up bringing home two bags of fillets. Yummy......but of course I can't eat any of it! :( Oh well!!! It will be well worth it though. Then last night when we got home, our little guy was there. Brady is spending the entire week at our house, so I'm sure we are all going to have a blast!!! And thanks to my mom for bringing him and staying with us this week to keep him during the day while we work. Well that's all for now.
