EXCITING NEWS!!!!
Chris and I found out on May 4th that we were expecting our first child together. Since then a lot has happened!!!! Yesterday, I had my first ultrasound which they were going to locate the heartbeat. I was lying on the table and watching the screen and the U/S tech said, here's the baby and there's the heartbeat. I saw the heartbeat and it was so sweet!! I immediately started to tear up, I was so thrilled that my baby was okay!!! THEN....the U/S tech said and here is the other baby!!! OH YEAH....We are having Twins!!!! Can you believe it???? Two sets of Twins in the Hamm family! Who would have thought???? So my due date yesterday calculated to be January 8th, but my doc said to expect for them to be here the first of December. So we should have two bundles of joy here in time for Christmas. The U/S tech said everything looked good, they measured good, and they were right where they needed to be at this time. So PLEASE keep our family in your prayers and pray that these two little ones will be arrive here healthy!!! Thanks in advance for all your support and prayers. OH, WE ARE SO EXCITED!!!!

KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION MAY 19
This past Monday our little one Graduated from Kindergarten. Boy how time flies. Brady had just turned 4 when we got married and he was so little. It's so hard to believe that the time has already come for him to Graduate from Kindergarten. He has definitely come a long way and learned so much from his Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Bootsie. His Graduation was held this past Monday on May 19 at 6pm at the Marion United Methodist Church/Chapel. The Kindergarten class sang several songs, said what they wanted to be when they grew up, and said their favorite thing to do in Kindergarten. Brady said he wanted to be a Palaentologist when he grew up...I even had to google the spelling of that one!!! He also said that going outside and Math was his favorite thing to do in Kindergarten. The kids did an awesome job on their Graduation Program and I know they were all so excited.
He looked so Handsome in his Cap and Gown.

Just A Little Update...
Nothing going on much in the Hamm Fam, but I thought I might need to post something anyway. This past Monday Chris's Granddaddy got to come home from the hospital. He is doing good, but still just trying to get his energy back. This weekend we are headed to Marion for a Fun Filled Family Weekend. We are eating supper at my Grandmother's tonight to celebrate Mother's Day, then Saturday we will be celebrating Chris's Grandfather's birthday, and then Mother's Day again on Sunday. I'm sure we will be fishing a little here and there throughout the weekend since we have Brady this weekend and that's just about all he wants to do these days. Well I hope all your Mothers out there have a Wonderful Day!!! You are all very special. Remember: Behind every amazing child is a FABULOUS MOM!!!! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

BEAUTY QUEEN AT FOUR!!!
Last Saturday night my niece Victoria was in a beauty pageant in Bibb County called Little Miss Sunshine. She was so cute and definitely the prettiest one there. (I'm her favorite Aunt so I have to say that)!! :) She wore her flower girl dress that she wore in Bethany Sweatt's (Freeman) wedding last October and she actually walked out on that stage all by herself. Can you believe it?? The funny thing was that while all the girls were standing on the stage so the judges could get there final thoughts together Victoria couldn't stop yawning. How typical of a four year old...but it was priceless. This was Victoria's first little pageant ever. She had so much fun, but was definitely more interested in eating the popcorn than getting a trophy. Speaking of trophies, Victoria got TWO trophies. That's right, she was voted BEST ATTIRE and then placed 4TH ALTERNATE. So this was very exciting for all us. She is so precious and will ALWAYS be a WINNER to us. CONGRATULATIONS VICTORIA!

NEEDED PRAYERS!!!
Well this week hasn't started off as planned. Yesterday around mid afternoon, Chris and I got a phone call that his Grandfather was being rushed to DCH due to chest pains. After running tests they discovered two blockages. Chris's grandfather will be having double bypass surgery this morning and every prayer we can get is needed. Grandaddy Charles is a strong and healthy man so we feel sure everything will be fine, but you can never have too many prayers. Also, my best friend Ann Bradford called me last night to tell me about one of her friends in CA. Her friend Katherine Wolf was rushed to the hospital yesterday for a possible aneurysm. She did have bleeding in the brain, so they rushed her in for emergency brain surgery that was to last 8 to 10 hours. The last I heard she was coming out of surgery and was stable. Please keep Katherine and her family in your prayers as well. She is married to a wonderful man and they have a 6 month old son together. That little boy needs his mommy and with the power of prayer we can all keep Grandaddy Charles and Katherine safe and well. Thank you in advance for all your prayers.

Welcome Baby Allie Barton!!
Chris and I have had a very eventful week and weekend. This past Wednesday at 2:58 our dear friends Ken and Allison Barton had their first child Alice Ann Barton aka Allie. She weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces and was 22 inches long. We went to visit the new parents on Thursday night in the hospital and they were all doing well. Then Friday, Chris and I both took the day off to work in our yard. We planted elephant ears, red and purple verbena, hostia, knockout roses, lillies, zinnias, and put out fresh mulch. We were so proud of our job well done and we had an awesome day together! Then Saturday we just enjoyed the beautiful sunshine in our backyard and both got a nice tan or should I say we look more like Lobster's today! Since we didn't make it to the Crawfish Festival in Faunsdale we decided to the bring the Crawfish to our house. So mid afternoon we cooked Pistolettes and a Crawfish Pie and of course had a few ice cold beverages to help those little critters get down. BOY, WERE THEY YUMMY! Then Sunday we went to check on the Barton's again. They were doing great and are going to be great parents. Not much of an exciting weekend, but I just thought that I would share our nice and relaxing weekend with each of you. It is not very often that Chris and I can just spend quality time AT HOME with each other and it was very nice. I've realized that in a marriage we sometime take for granted the time we do share and sometimes need to just sit back, relax, and enjoy each other's company.
