TWELVE WEEK BABY UPDATE

I went for another appointment today and we got another U/S. Unfortunately Chris was unable to go with me, so my mom went with me to the doc. Chris has been out of town for a week working and will hopefully be home Friday. This time I got a picture of our babies and you can see them perfectly. The U/S tech said today that they WERE in separate sacs so that means there still is a chance there could a boy and a girl in there, but it is still too soon to tell. It all depends on when the sac/babies actually split. I go back on July 23 and they have me down for another U/S. HOW EXCITING!!! It is so fun getting to see our babies so much. They both measured 11 weeks and 4 days and they look like little peanuts. By my cycle I am 11 weeks and 3 days. One's heart rate was 146 and the other was 155. They said everything looked great and sounded great. So another good checkup!!! YAY!!!! Thank you all again for your prayers and your support. We have a long way to go, but it is going to be so much FUN!!

This pic shows both of our little peanuts.

They are right beside each other. It looks like the bottom one is facing up with his/her hands up beside his/her ears and the top one is showing a profile view with maybe an arm up by his/her face.

Aren't they so cute?? This is just so amazing!

HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY TO BRADY!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRADY!!!!!

On June 12th Brady turned 6 years old. I know...he is getting so BIG! For his Birthday we first celebrated on Father's Day at Lunch with Grandmommy, Berta, Great Granddaddy, Aunt Sue, Uncle Jack, Celia, and Drew. Chris was unable to be with me and Brady on Sunday because he had to work, but we celebrated Father's Day with him that evening. Brady got so many goodies that it was almost like Christmas.

Then around 2pm me and Brady headed to Tuscaloosa for an afternoon at the pool with my sister's in-laws and my dad. They were so sweet to make Brady a cake for his Birthday. He had so much fun!!!

Then we headed home where me and Chris and my mom celebrated his birthday with him. We gave him a Bike, a fishing shirt, and polarized sun glasses so he would be just like his Daddy. Oh and I almost forgot the best part. I gave my two favorite boys a Buddy Deer Stand so now they can sit in a stand together when they go hunting. They both loved it!!! It's so hard to believe that Brady is 6 years old. He had just turned 4 when Chris and I got married. Boy...how time flies!!!!

WE HOPE YOU HAD A WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY!

WE LOVE YOU, DADDY AND KRISTY!

A DAY AT THE ZOO!!!

Memorial Day weekend me, Chris, Brady, my mom, my sister, Victoria, and Daniel all headed out for a day at the Birmingham Zoo. But before we could even get to the zoo we had to stop at the Cracker Barrel on 280 to get a bite to eat. We finally made it to the zoo around 1pm. The kids had a BLAST! Their favorite thing though was the CAMEL RIDE!!!! That's right.....the B'Ham zoo is now offering camel rides. Victoria and Brady absolutely LOVED it, but of course afterwards they stunk like a camel the rest of the day. :) After getting to see all the animals, we took the kids to the foam machine that was set up over near the food pavilion. That was a great way for the kids to get cooled off. After the zoo, it was time to eat supper so we decided to go to Red Lobster. It was good too!!!! Then back home, where the kids played all night long together. I think the fam probably left around 11 that night to head home. We had such a fun day. Family Fun is ALWAYS the best!!!

THE FISHING HAS BEGUN!!!

This past weekend me and Chris and a few of our friends headed to the beach for a weekend of relaxation and salt water fishing. Of course I didn't get to go out on the boat, but I did get a few hours of sun and then a lot of needed sleep and rest. It was a rather relaxing weekend!!! The guy's headed out on Saturday morning in hopes of spending the entire day reeling in one after the other. They did pretty good, but not as good as they wanted to. We ended up bringing home two bags of fillets. Yummy......but of course I can't eat any of it! :( Oh well!!! It will be well worth it though. Then last night when we got home, our little guy was there. Brady is spending the entire week at our house, so I'm sure we are all going to have a blast!!! And thanks to my mom for bringing him and staying with us this week to keep him during the day while we work. Well that's all for now.

EXCITING NEWS!!!!

Chris and I found out on May 4th that we were expecting our first child together. Since then a lot has happened!!!! Yesterday, I had my first ultrasound which they were going to locate the heartbeat. I was lying on the table and watching the screen and the U/S tech said, here's the baby and there's the heartbeat. I saw the heartbeat and it was so sweet!! I immediately started to tear up, I was so thrilled that my baby was okay!!! THEN....the U/S tech said and here is the other baby!!! OH YEAH....We are having Twins!!!! Can you believe it???? Two sets of Twins in the Hamm family! Who would have thought???? So my due date yesterday calculated to be January 8th, but my doc said to expect for them to be here the first of December. So we should have two bundles of joy here in time for Christmas. The U/S tech said everything looked good, they measured good, and they were right where they needed to be at this time. So PLEASE keep our family in your prayers and pray that these two little ones will be arrive here healthy!!! Thanks in advance for all your support and prayers. OH, WE ARE SO EXCITED!!!!

KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION MAY 19

This past Monday our little one Graduated from Kindergarten. Boy how time flies. Brady had just turned 4 when we got married and he was so little. It's so hard to believe that the time has already come for him to Graduate from Kindergarten. He has definitely come a long way and learned so much from his Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Bootsie. His Graduation was held this past Monday on May 19 at 6pm at the Marion United Methodist Church/Chapel. The Kindergarten class sang several songs, said what they wanted to be when they grew up, and said their favorite thing to do in Kindergarten. Brady said he wanted to be a Palaentologist when he grew up...I even had to google the spelling of that one!!! He also said that going outside and Math was his favorite thing to do in Kindergarten. The kids did an awesome job on their Graduation Program and I know they were all so excited.

He looked so Handsome in his Cap and Gown.

Just A Little Update...

Nothing going on much in the Hamm Fam, but I thought I might need to post something anyway. This past Monday Chris's Granddaddy got to come home from the hospital. He is doing good, but still just trying to get his energy back. This weekend we are headed to Marion for a Fun Filled Family Weekend. We are eating supper at my Grandmother's tonight to celebrate Mother's Day, then Saturday we will be celebrating Chris's Grandfather's birthday, and then Mother's Day again on Sunday. I'm sure we will be fishing a little here and there throughout the weekend since we have Brady this weekend and that's just about all he wants to do these days. Well I hope all your Mothers out there have a Wonderful Day!!! You are all very special. Remember: Behind every amazing child is a FABULOUS MOM!!!! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!
