THE BOYS ROOM....

The Boys' Room are basically done. We've still got some washing to do and get all the clutter out, but other than that their rooms are ready for their arrival.

This of course is Quinn's bed.

I painted this picture for their room.
I thought they needed a cute little saying in their room.

This of course is their changing area. The wreaths under the white shelves were made for us for out baby shower that our friends gave us. (pics from that shower to come later) The wreaths are made out of diapers and wash clothes.

And this is Kaden's bed. I sure hope the boys like their rooms!

WORK BABY SHOWER

Last Friday my office held me a Baby Shower for the boys. We got more awesome goodies for the boys! And the cake was SO precious. Chris and I got there around lunch and ate McAllister's ith everyone and then opened gifts. It was a great party! Thank you to all my NSFSB co-workers for the great Baby Shower...you are all so sweet!
Hopefully I will see you all in a few weeks.

The boys got their first Leapster Toy! I just love these toys!

These little outfits were so cute...they had little raccoons on them!

Check out all the presents. We got Diapers, Wipes, Toys, Blankets, Gift Cards, Clothes, etc.

This cake was so cute and was absolutely delicious! Thank you - Jessica and Misty!

28/29 WEEK UPDATE!

I went to the doc today. The babies are doing great! Both measured 28 weeks and 3 days (I was 28 weeks and 4 days today), so they are right on track. Baby A weighed 2 pounds and 10 ounces and Baby B weighed 2 pounds 14 ounces. Heatrates were good as well, both in the 150's. The only down side to the appointment was that I have to stay at home for about 3 weeks to get some rest. Last Friday I was having too many BH contractions in an hour, so I had to go in and get monitored for about 5 hours. They gave me two shots of Terbutaline and they slowed down which is good news, but so far I'm still having to take the medicine to keep them from occurring too much. So I'll be at home for a few weeks getting some rest. I go back on November 7th for my next checkup. The doc says I HAVE TO GET to 32 weeks. We don't won't them coming before then. Of course our goal is 37 weeks, but with twins we take small goals at a time. Oh and the other good news is that I've only gained 25 pounds so far. That's pretty good for twins. At least I think! Oh, and one more thing. The U/S tech did the 4D U/S on me today. She just did it as a treat, but unfortunately she was only able to get one baby. Baby A just wouldn't cooperate and he had his head down. So if they ARE identical I guess I'll just have to share the pics. HA!

This is Baby B. He is head down and run's along my right side. Doesn't he look so sweet?

I can't wait to meet these little guys!

This was another pic of Baby B!

PS - I think my computer might be okay, so as of right now I'm still using it. My settings just got reset and somehow everything got moved.

COMPUTER TROUBLES...

So my computer at home has gotten a terrible virus and I've lost everything on it. At least I've got copies of everything. Instead of getting it wiped cleaned and reloaded, I guess we will be computer shopping soon. It was time anyway. I got that laptop when I was in college in 2002. So it might be a while before I get any pics up, but I'll at least try to write a blog or two to keep you all posted on what's happening in our life. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, so you all will be hearing from then.

DIAPER AND BATH SHOWER OCT 5TH

Last Saturday I had my Diaper and Bath Time Shower that was given by my sister, a dear friend Jean Hicks, my brother-in-law's mother and sister-in-law. The party was so awesome and we had such a good turn out.
The boys got lots of goodies!!!

The Hostesses From Left to Right
Connie Stringfellow, Me, Kelley Stringfellow, Jean Hicks and Gail Stringfellow

Mommy and Daddy To - Be

Me and Rhetta (my mom)

Me and My Grandmother better know to me as Turkeybutt

The Hamm Fam: Chris, Me, and Grandmommy

The Highlight of the Party. If you notice on my finger there is a little Tee Pee on it. We got some PEE PEE, TEE PEE's so you can cover that little thing up while changing so no one gets wet. They were hilarious!!! Even Victoria had some questions about what to do with them.

Victoria was such an awesome little helper and she is so excited about her little cousins.

This is our dear friend Allison Barton with her little girl, Allie. The Boys don't know it yet, but they've already got a girlfriend waiting on them. That is if her Daddy ever lets her date!

Daniel finally woke up from his nap to join the Party.

This BIG goody box was from Chris's mom. She is the best Grandmommy ever!

The Boys also got these monogrammed bags from their Great Aunt Jess. They match my diaper bag perfectly. And that wasn't it, the bags were filled with all kinds of goodies.
Even BIG BROTHER BRADY sent his little brothers a gift.

They got some washcloths and wipes from him.

My dear friend Christen and her mom gave the boys their Bumbo seats along with the trays.

I know the boys are going to love sitting in these.
My mom's friend Kay gave the boys monogrammed diaper covers to wear with their Christianing Gowns. That was such a special gift.

And then of course Rhetta just couldn't help herself. My mom has been dying to buy someone a wagon, so guess who got a wagon full of goodies. THE BOYS!!! They are sooo going to enjoy this wagon. It has two seats that pop up along with little seat belts so we can hopefully keep them strapped in and then it even comes with a cover so they aren't in the sun all the time.

The aren't even here yet, and they already have been blessed so much.

Thanks to all for your prayers, love and support.

I PASSED.....YAY!!!!

Well, I got the phone call from my doctor's nurse this morning, that I PASSED my sugar test. I am so glad I don't have to drink that stuff again. But my bloodwork did show that I am a little anemic which is normal at this stage of my pregnancy. So I just have to take an extra iron pill every day. That would explain why I've been so tired lately, but hopefully these pills will give me a boost of energy. That's all for now. I will have new posts next week. I have my Diaper and Bath Time shower this weekend at my sister's house.

25 WEEKS AND 3 DAYS PREGNANT

Today I had another checkup. I had an ultrasound and my sugar test. Hopefully I passed, but I won't know until probably tomorrow. So keep your fingers crossed! My Ultrasound went great. Baby A measured 25 weeks and 4 Days and Baby B measured 25 weeks and 2 days. They both weighed 1 pound and 13 ounces and are head down with their feet right in my rib cage on both sides. The Boys are doing GREAT!!!! The pics I got today are of their little bottoms, if you know what I mean and they are DEFINITELY BOYS! My mom and Grandmother are still hoping that a little girl will show up somewhere. I go back on October 22nd for another checkup and U/S.
